18th century English Army issue 'New Land' flintlock muzzle loading Cavalry pistol having 22.5cm barrel, with two proof marks, the action with tower and crowned GR stamps, brass mounted wooden grip and fore end with swivel ramrod and brass trigger guard. 3 cm long approx. Together with a 19th century embossed leather shot flask with metal dispenser and a 19th century percussion pocket pistol with 6cm turn off barrel and wooden butt. Overall 17.5cm long approx. The flintlock pistol is overall in good condition, general nicks, bumps and wear to the woodwork, the barrel retains no original blueing, although the steelwork and brasswork generally is good. The powder flask is worn with some surface rust and marks commensurate with age and the pocket pistol retains no original finish and is tarnished overall but complete and actions of both pistols appear to be working. Length of the lock 136mm approx.
